Personal Lines Broker – Sydney, Kentville and Port Hawkesbury, NS

Roles and Responsibilities:  The Personal Lines Broker is responsible for providing clients with service to existing policies and quoting new insurance risks. They shall offer impartial advice, assess client needs, recommend suitable coverage, and serve customers throughout Nova Scotia in a team-based environment. Location of clients may change based on business needs.

Responsibilities include assisting clients in person and by telephone, recommending appropriate coverages, educating clients on risks and insurance options, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate, supporting team members, safeguarding client confidentiality, maintaining accurate records, and completing all required training. After completing training and obtaining the Nova Scotia General Insurance Licence, the Personal Lines Broker will be responsible for meeting the expectations of a personal service plan, with support, coaching, and training provided by the Company.

 

 

Receptionist – Kentville, NS

Roles and Responsibilities: The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience. They manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or department. Receptionists schedule appointments and meetings for agents or management, maintain organized client records and office files, and assist with forms, applications, and claims processing as needed. They provide basic information about insurance products and procedures while ensuring they stay within the permitted scope of guidance. Additionally, they help maintain a clean and organized reception area, monitor office supplies, coordinate mail and deliveries, and support administrative tasks for the team. Throughout all responsibilities, the insurance receptionist ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, protecting client confidentiality and sensitive information, while supporting the smooth operation of the office.
